Joseph Henry Kounalakis (born September 26, 2014) is a twelve year old rock musician from McGrathia. As a cover artist, he mostly does covers of American rock songs from the late 1960s. Joseph is also the only child of Greek ancestry in McGrathia.
Early Childhood
Joseph Kounalakis was born on September 26, 2014, in Youngstown, Ohio. He is third generation American. Joseph’s great grandfather immigrated from Greece as a child in 1920. Joseph’s parents are Stephanie and Robert Kounalakis.
Joseph began to love music at a young age. He took guitar lessons at the age of eight in 2022. The following year, he and his parents immigrated to McGrathia, settling down in the city of Joetown.
Education
Upon his immigration to McGrathia, Joseph was enrolled at Joetown Community School. In order to prevent confusion with Joseph Charnock or Joseph Sorenson, he was referred to as Joseph K. by the other students.
Since Joseph was focused more on music, his grades were slipping fast. Eventually, after a recommendation from the superintendent, he was expelled from Joetown Community School. This allowed Joseph to begin an amateur music career.
Music Career
Joseph Kounalakis began his career as a professional rock musician in July 2026. His current manager since the very beginning is Cincinnatus Walsh, the maternal uncle and parental guardian of Ethan Campbell. Joseph’s performances are mostly covers of songs made during the Late 1960s Counterculture in America. In his first performance, Joseph sang the song “Somebody To Love”, which is a song that was famous covered by Jefferson Airplane.
Personal Life
Joseph currently resides in a house on Wakefield Island, an island located off the east coast of McGrathia. He cannot speak Greek as that language died in his family long ago.
