Joey Toscano began his campaign in the 2026 McGrathian Presidential Election on March 3, 2026, as a candidate for the Approval Voting Party. He is the first kid to run for president in McGrathian history. In his campaign announcement, Joey pitched himself as a conservative with a vision of a national identity for McGrathia.
In an interview with JBC News, Joey stated that he was inspired off Ethan Campbell‘s successful campaign for president of Nova Scotia, in which, Ethan became the world’s first kid president.

Foreign Policy
Joey has stated that he wants to cut all diplomatic ties with Colorado if elected president. Joey has always opposed Colorado’s switch from a republic to a monarchy in 2023. The plan is to cut all diplomatic relations and military aid to the Coloradoan government until “Colorado becomes a republic again”.
Education
Joey has also stated that he wants to abolish public education and make all kids attend a Catholic parochial school. The only exception to Joey’s idea is to have Jewish and autistic kids be exempted from education entirely.
“The Draft”
In an interview with JBC News on March 6, 2026, Joey stated that he plans to abolish the mandatory military service that has been enacted for all able-bodied non-pregnant females since 2024. Joey thinks that President Joe McGrath made a mistake on introducing the selective service to females while also only allowing males to serve as high-ranking generals.
