The United States Football League (USFL) is a professional American football league that began in 2022.
History
In 2022, the National Football League (NFL) was dissolved by the Federal Government over anti-trust laws since the NFL was the only major American football league. As a result, some of the teams were either disbanded, auctioned off, or made into a new league. In order to save American football, the United States Football League was created. It was named after the original USFL that existed from 1983 to 1985 and the rebooted league, acquiring the old USFL’s logos and trademarks.
