East New York is a town in Kings County, New York. It is located on the southwestern shore of Long Island along the Jamaica Bay. As of 2026, East New York has a population of 91,958 people living in an area of 1.867 square miles. The town was founded in 1650 by Dutch colonists under the name New Lots. The town did not adopt its present name until the early Twentieth Century. Due to white flight, the lack of jobs, and gentrification, East New York has become a crime infested town with a significant presence of gang activity among its black population. In 2026, the town of East New York was declared to be the most dangerous city in all of McGrathia by President Joe McGrath.
