Petrov v. Prince George is an ongoing lawsuit filed in U.S. federal court in which Sergey Petrov, a 15 year old Russian kid from McGrathia, sued Prince George of Wales, the grandson of King Charles III, king of the United Kingdom and ceremonial head of the British Commonwealth, for defamation. Sergey’s lawsuit alleged that George made various comments about Sergey while visiting schoolchildren across the United Kingdom, especially England. George denies Sergey’s claims and allegations. The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts in late May 2026, and it was assigned to Ethan Campbell, the youngest judge in the United States of America.
As of May 23, 2026, the lawsuit is ongoing, with Prince George’s lawyers attempting to dismiss the lawsuit. The case will go to trial in Boston on May 27, 2026. Sergey is seeking a court ordered apology, $77.00, and for Prince George to be removed from the British Royal Family’s line of succession.
