Nova Scotia is an English-speaking country on the Atlantic Coast of North America. It borders Canada to the northwest on the Chignecto Isthmus, which conencts it with the province of New Brunswick. The capital and largest city in Nova Scotia is Halifax. The country of Nova Scotia itself only has over 1 million inhabitants as of the 2025 census. The country of Nova Scotia seceded from Canada in 2020 after the outbreak of the Canadian Civil War.
