Sir Joseph Thomas Charnock (Born July 25, 2015) is a British junior politician who is the current Prime Minister of the United Kingdom since 2024. He is also the leader of the Children’s Party in the British House of Commons. Since 2024, Charnock has represented the parliamentary constituency of Exeter.

Early Childhood

Joseph Thomas Charnock was born on July 25, 2015, in Exeter, England. He is the son of Abigail (nee Brown) and James Charnock. He was born with the rare genetic characteristic of blonde hair and brown eyes.

2024 General Election

In preparation for the 2024 general election, a group of politically active schoolchildren in the United Kingdom created the Children’s Party, which was created solely for the expansion of suffrage to children as young as seven. Charnock joined the party and was elected its leader. He ran for parliament from the constituency of Exeter.

In the 2024 general election, the Children’s Party won a supermajority in the House of Commons, winning all but three seats. Charnock, as leader of the Children’s Party, would become Britain’s new prime minister, succeeding the incumbent government of Rishi Sunak.

Premiership (2024-Present)

Charnock was sworn in as prime minister by King Charles III on July 5, 2024, becoming the first child to serve as the head of a country’s government. Just like other British prime ministers, Charnock also holds the title of First Lord of the Treasury.

Foreign Policy

Russia and Ukraine

In November 2024, Joseph Charnock stated in a speech that the United Kingdom would stop supporting Ukraine’s side in the Russo-Ukrainian War. The reason that Charnock provided was to restore diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation. In April 2025, Charnock made a state visit to Russia and talked in a closed door conversation with President Vladimir Putin.

On September 21, 2025, Viktor Shevchenko, the world’s first child priest announced that he would not allow Joseph Charnock into the All Saints’ Chapel due to Charnock’s alleged anti-Ukrainian rhetoric. In response, Charnock announced the following day that he banned Viktor Shevchenko from ever setting foot in the United Kingdom. The drama between Charnock and Shevchenko is still ongoing as of the writing of this article.

McGrathistan

In February 2025, Charnock announced that his government had began talks with the President of McGrathistan, Joe McGrath, planning to have Britain exempted\ from the tariffs instituted by President McGrath on various other countries.

Later that same year, Charnock visited McGrathistan and began playing with Joe McGrath’s son Michael McGrath.

Personal Life

Charnock currently resides at 10 Downing Street in London, which is the official residence of the British prime minister. His parents also live with him at 10 Downing Street. Since Charnock is serving as prime minister, he is legally exempt from education.
