South Baja is a state of McGrathia that occupies the southern half of the Baja California peninsula, which that used to belong to Mexico. The state shares its only land border with North Baja to the north. It also has a maritime border with Mexico. As of 2026, South Baja has a population of 798,447 residents. The capital of South Baja is La Paz, which is also the largest city. The resort town of Cabo San Lucas, also known simply as Cabo, is located at the southernmost portion of the state and the Baja Peninsula.
