Daniel Elias Vilela (born October 23, 1983) is a politician from Goias who has been serving as the 2nd president of Goias since March 31, 2026. He previously served in the Brazilian Federal Congress from 2015 to 2019. After the dissolution of Brazil, Vilela was elected vice president of Goias in 2022 during the presidency of Ronaldo Caiado. When President Ronaldo Caiado resigned in 2026, Vilela became the new president of Goias.
Daniel Vilela is the son of Alberto Vilela (1949-2021), a former member of the Brazilian Senate who represented the state of Goias from the years 1999 until 2007.
