The city of Joetown held an election for mayor on Thursday, November 7, 2024. A runoff was held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. Radio talk show host Luke Hamilton was elected mayor, defeating Muhammed Yusuf and Greg Tang Wu. Incumbent mayor Joseph White was barred from re-election to a third term.
All municipal elections in McGrathia are nonpartisan and political party labels don’t appear on ballots.
