The United Joe Republic (UJR) is an English-speaking country in North America. It shares land borders with the United States of America at various locations. As of 2026, the UJR is home to 5,830,413 residents within its two subdivisions. One of these subdivisions, the independent city of Joetown, is the national capital of the UJR and is home to eight people. The other subdivision of the UJR is the state of Minnesota, which is home to the remaining 5,830,405 residents.

History

The United Joe Republic was created in 2023. It was created after the U.S. state of Minnesota was annexed by Joetown. In order to promote unity between the two subdivisions, a federal republic was created. Its first head of state was Joe McGrath, the founder and namesake of Joetown. The country has been relatively unchanged ever since its establishment. Joe McGrath still remains in power as of September 2026.

Flag

The flag of the United Joe Republic is nearly identical to the flag of the United States. The only difference between the two flags is the number of stars within the blue square at the top-left corner. The American flag has fifty stars while the UJR flag has only one star. Just like the current American flag, the star in the corner represents the sole state of the UJR, which is Minnesota.

Current Citizens

Due the country’s population being too large, this section will only list ten citizens of the UJR. Please be aware, the UJR is home to more than ten people.
