2027-2037
In 2027, President Joe McGrath announces that he will not seek a fourth term as president in the 2028 McGrathian election. In 2028, Richard Rakoto was elected the second president of McGrathia. Rakoto remained president until 2037. He was succeeded by William Carter Scott.
In 2035, Viktor Shevchenko will graduate from high school. In 2037, the same event happens to Sergey Petrov and Michael McGrath. After high school, Sergey and Michael will attend the University of Northern New Jersey.
2038-2048
In 2041, Michael McGrath starts his own company called Salem & Company, which is a conglomerate that primarily owns sit down restaurant chains. It would later grow into the largest restaurant owner in all of McGrathia.
In 2042, Sergey Petrov was elected governor of Maine. He would be re-elected to the position in 2046. Due to term limits in Maine, Sergey couldn’t seek re-election in 2050 and he left office in 2051. Sergey was later elected to Congress in 2052, representing Maine’s 1st congressional district.
In 2046, the McGrathian economy crashed, resulting in the Great McGrathian Recession. For the first time in McGrathian history, the country was in a weak economic state. People ultimately put the blame on President William Carter Scott, who did nothing to fix the McGrathian economy. Eventually, in the 2048 presidential election, President Scott was defeated in his re-election bid by Joe McGrath, the former president of McGrathia.
2049-2065
In 2049, Viktor Shevchenko married a woman named Beatrix Robinson. In 2050, Michael McGrath married Sharon Howard at a ceremony in Malibu, California. In 2051, Sergey Petrov married a woman named Katrina Dennison.
In 2051, the McGrathian economy finally recovered from the Great McGrathian Recession. Due to this, Joe McGrath was re-elected once again in 2052.
On December 8, 2053, Charley McGrath, the son of Sharon and Michael McGrath, was born in Burbank, California. Charley McGrath was named after Charlie Sheen, an actor best known for his role in the sitcom Two and a Half Men.
On September 13, 2056, Viktor Shevchenko Jr., the son of Beatrix and Viktor Shevchenko, was born in Houston, Texas. He was named after his father.
In the 2056 presidential election, Joe McGrath was re-elected to his third term of his second presidency, which intern was his sixth term overall. However, due to his old age and declining health, Joe announced in 2059 that he would not seek re-election in the 2060 presidential election. Sergey also announced a presidential bid for that same election after serving four terms in Congress.
On June 27, 2060, Joseph Petrov, the son of Katrina and Sergey Petrov, was born in Portland, Maine. He was named after Joe McGrath, Sergey’s adoptive father who was serving as president at the time.
In the 2060 presidential election, Sergey was elected as McGrathia’s fifth president. He officially succeeded Joe McGrath on January 20, 2061. During Sergey’s presidency, McGrathia continued on with its post-recession economic boom.
By November 2065, McGrathia still exists and is currently preparing for its fifty-year anniversary of independence, which is slated for 2068. Sergey Petrov was re-elected to his second presidential term in 2064 and has already announced a re-election bid for the 2068 election.
