The Citizens Party of New England is a liberal political party that currently dominates the politics of New England. The party controls both chambers in the New England Legislature, the presidency, and the governorships of Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, and Maine. It was established in 2019 when the New England affiliates of the Democratic Party consolidated into a new political party.
