President of Joe’s America (2053-Present)
In October 2051, incumbent president Joe McGrath announced in he was stepping down from his presidency after serving eight consecutive terms. Inspired of his father’s success story, Sergey announced a presidential bid on December 10, 2051.
Sergey ran unopposed in the Approval Voting Party’s primaries, gaining the nomination at the party’s National Convention in Memphis, Tennessee.
Sergey eventually won the 2052 election and was inaugurated as Joe’s America’s 2nd president on January 7, 2053. As president, Sergey would cut taxes by 13 percent and help improve relations between Joe’s America and Uruguay, which had severed relations with Joe’s America in 2046.
