Gerald R. Ford (Born July 14, 1913) is an American politician and lawyer who served as the 38th president of the United States. He became president after Richard Nixon resigned in 1974 due to fears of being impeached. Ford only served the remaining years of Nixon’s second term (He lost reelection to Jimmy Carter in the 1976 election).
After his presidency, Ford would move to California; first to Rancho Mirage, then to San Guillermo. Ford was one of the people who helped Joe McGrath succeed as president of Joe’s America.
